Join our virtual workshop on “𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗮 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀” and meet Global STEM Ambassador and registered science technician, 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼.

The virtual workshop will address fundamental topics in finding topics and organizing STEM workshops and activities. Here you will be receiving practical ideas for engaging with students in a creative way. The workshop will be held on 𝟵 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗮𝘁 𝟲 𝗣𝗠 (𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲).

Topics discussed in the workshop will include Emilia’s projects such as Edible Poo (Learning objectives: Understand the digestive system and what a stool sample can tell us about our digestive health), and Ice Cream in A Bag.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮:

Emilia Angelillo is a STEM Ambassador with a huge influence on social media (instagram.com/emilia.science), who is also a registered science technician working at an independent school in Cambridge, UK. As a lab technician, Emilia supports the science department and assists science teachers in preparing and demonstrating experiments for chemistry, biology, and physics in classrooms. While her role as a STEM ambassador includes hands-on activities in different schools and promotes practical science from an early age.

Emilia is also involved in various STEM projects (both in her school and other schools throughout the world) such as workshops, STEM clubs, and STEM weeks. She has been awarded Science Technician of the year in 2021 by Gratnells and Outstanding STEM Ambassador in 2022 by STEM Learning United Kingdom (UK).
