14 February 2023 ─ Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Regional Centre for STEM Education (SEAMEO STEM-ED) co-organized a distribution of Good Neighbors Thailand Foundation “dignity kits” (female’s essentials) to students at Science-Based Technology Vocational College (Chonburi, Thailand) ─ boosting them with confidence in their daily lives.

Good Neighbors Foundation is an international humanitarian development non-governmental organization (NGO) with a mission to eradicate hunger and promote harmonious living.

The so-called “dignity kits” (500 kits in total amount) were courtesy of the Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation where they compounded essential items for girls from ages 12 to 16 to use in a day or when an emergency arises. The items were washable sanitary pads, hair scrunchies, handkerchiefs, whistles, combs, underwear, and sleeping socks packed in small pouches.

The beneficiaries of dignity kits included Science-Based Technology Vocational College, Watbankao School, Banyansu School, Watsripracharam School, Banbangsamae School, and Watworapotsangkawas School.
