SEAMEO STEM-ED in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Code.org, and Khan Academy is organizing a virtual webinar on 21 April 2023 titled “Teaching in the Age of AI.” This is a great chance for Southeast Asian educators, policymakers, and curriculum designers to hear insights and learn from the world’s experts.

In this virtual workshop, you will meet executives who specialize in technology and education which are Khan Academy’s Chief Learning Officer, Dr. Kristen DiCerbo, and the Chief Academic Officer of Code.org, Mr. Pat Yongpradit.

Dr. Kristen DiCerbo is the Chief Learning Officer at Khan Academy, a nonprofit dedicated to providing a free, world-class education to anyone, anywhere. She is responsible for driving and communicating the teaching and learning strategy for Khan Academy’s programs, content, and products in order to improve student and teacher engagements and outcomes.

Pat Yongpradit is the Chief Academic Officer for Code.org, an organization dedicated to promoting computer science education. He advises and partners with state and national education systems around the world. Notably, he has led the development of the K-12 computer science framework and the annual report of "the 2022 State of Computer Science Education."
