1 May 2023 – 3 May 2023 ─ The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for STEM Education (SEAMEO STEM-ED), Director Dr Kritsachai Somsaman was invited to share his insights to Master’s and PhD students about researchers can capitalize on “communication research” ─ for conveying more impactful messages at Phusakthan Resort, Nakhon Nayok.
Communication research focuses on identifying and exploring measures of communication in research. The study tackles systematic and scientific procedures to discover and attempt to deliver convincing answers to a specific question. It also assists in confirming and discovering patterns in the communication behavior of individuals and helps scholars to develop useful communication practices.
SEAMEO STEM-ED Centre Director, Dr Somsaman, who is an expert in communication and a veteran in transforming educational institutions spoke about effective methods for utilizing different communication research strategies in research. Here, the Centre Director highlighted practices in making research more impactful through better communication
practices. He further remarked that technology and innovation are fundamentals in today’s world, and using them will pioneer much of the research, as well as making them more interesting for the public.
Accompanying the Centre Director, SEAMEO STEM-ED Research and Evaluation Manager, Asst Prof Yaowalak Jittakoat discussed how university students and educational institutions can collaborate and pioneer education through research together.
The event was participated by 34 university students from Khon Kaen University and faculty members from Srinakharinwirot University and Chulalongkorn University.
