The wait is over!! Teaching in the Age of AI Series is back with another virtual workshop on “Maker and STEAM Education.”

Earlier in April 2023, SEAMEO STEM-ED initiated a series of New Ideas in Education Webinar Series to capture the emergence of digitization and attend to education in the midst of the 21st century. The centre’s determination in creating this series is for teachers, educators and policymakers to equip themselves with essential technology and innovation ─ and how to utilize them for better classroom efficiency.

This upcoming August 18, SEAMEO STEM-ED Centre sought collaborations with Ministry of Education (MOE) Thailand, Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Administration for Digital Industries (ADI), Taiwan to shine lights on maker and STEAM education since they play a crucial role in this process by providing students with hands-on, interdisciplinary learning experiences that help them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The webinar will feature expert speakers and educators from both organizations, who will share their experiences and insights on best practices, approaches, and strategies for integrating Maker and STEAM education in the classroom.
