SEAMEO STEM-ED, in collaboration with the National Science Museum (NSM) and other prestigious partners, proudly invites photographers and environmental advocates from around the globe to participate in the 2024 International Photo Competition for the Future. This competition aims to raise awareness and stimulate action towards the preservation of our natural environment through the powerful medium of photography.

Competition Theme:

"Save the Earth, Save Us All" – We encourage submissions that vividly portray the urgency of environmental conservation and the actions required to sustain our planet.

Categories:

• Reportage Photo: Authentic depictions of environmental issues and realities.
• Campaign Photo: Artfully crafted images designed to promote environmental conservation and inspire positive change.

Eligibility and Submission Guidelines:

• Open to all international participants.
• Entrants may submit up to three entries in each category.
• Each submission must include a photo, a title (no more than 140 characters), and a description (no more than 100 words or 700 characters) that echo the environmental theme.
• Photos must be submitted in .jpeg or .jpg format.

Prizes:

• First Prize: $300 USD and a trophy.
• Second Prize: $200 USD and a trophy.
• Third Prize: $100 USD and a trophy.
• Winning entries and selected submissions will be displayed at the 2024 Thailand National Science and Technology Fair.

Entry Submission:

Submissions are free of charge and must be entered through our online submission form. Please ensure that you have read and agreed to all competition rules before submitting your photographs.

Deadline for Submissions: 20 June 2024 (5 p.m., UTC+7)

Judging Criteria:

Entries will be evaluated based on their artistic and technical quality, relevance to the theme, and the impact of the accompanying title and description.
